Martha Jefferson Replacement Hospital Campus

Matthews Development Company is providing program management services for the development of the replacement campus, master planned for 1.3MM square feet of ultimate capacity. Successful rezoning of campus by MDC in 2003; construction in progress, completion in 2012.

Services: Campus Rezoning & Special Use Permits; Consulting for the planning and development of the replacement hospital facility,including strategic planning, consultant selection, master budgets, master planning, and infrastructure analysis. Dates: 2001-present Scope: 107 acre rezoning; 50 year master plan for 1.3M square foot acute and ambulatory care campus with a six-acre central community park. Status: Rezoning and special use permits granted by Albemarle County in 2003; Community park design underway; campus planning on-going.
